You might try getting it modified by Spencers here in Florida:

Does EXCELLENT WORK, very fast turnaround, it'll take longer to ship than to modify/soften up..

I had mine done, (like yours a little to hard, getting vibs to my butt). Looks bone stock and never apart, HIGHLY recommended.

Very reasonable prices too.
