After 2 weeks of not being allowed to ride (hernia operation), I'm starting to get withdrawl symptoms :(
(The only other time I went this long was when I was away on holiday)
luckily I'll be back on the road tomorrow
I still have to be careful moving my bike onto the road, but I'll...

Okay why do I do everything the hard way.
First dual headlight mod, made the wire, plugged it into the headlight. Ran it back to under the tank. Said to my self, hey I can see the plug, no need to pull the battery box. Well a little pulling, tugging, twisting the plug is almost .... damn it, it...
Just have everything mocked up so far, haven't wired or tightened anything down yet. What do you guys think?
I should have gotten a bigger headlight i think, that one just looks a little too small to me. I also plan on getting one of the covers that goes over the back of the instrument...
I set out from VA on Saturday on the fz6 with a buddy on his fz6. We have been through Tennessee, had a GREAT time in Arkansas (route 341 and others around that area), and am now waking up in Houston and about to head out to Pensacola. It's been a little too fast paced of a trip but fun...
So I've had the motodynamics integrated tail light installed for a couple months now. Last night I noticed while holding the brakes the tail light continues to flash intermittently. It seems like I'll hold the brakes and after 5-10 seconds it will blink rapidly then go back to brake light. Now...

Next weekend me and 8-9 other bikers are going on a 700km one day trip from Copenhagen and back.
We will land in Puttgarden (by ferry) at around 9 AM and probably going west through Northern Germany before riding up through to South West Denmark and back east to Copenhagen.
We've done...
So I had saved up some cash for a new exhaust for the FZ6 and was going to get the Scorps. Well I went this morning to get the Oil changed in my car(2014 civic) and on my way home this girl runs the red light cuts me off where I had to slam on my brakes, and then starts trying to hit me in MY...
I just wanted to draw members attention to a company with a good old fashioned sense of customer service.-the Australian distributors of Kriega!
I have one of their 25litre back packs and it is the most comfortable back pack I have ever used on a bike due to the Quadlock system and weight...
I'm alright just some bruises and a sore neck but my icon back and chest protector, hjc is-17 helmet definitely helped.
I'm at a light behind a Jeep and a few other cars. We both turn into Walmart after a green light(left turn). the walmart parking lot is set up so right when you turn in...
I am moving from MA to VT at the end of the month. I'll be loading up a 15' or 17' Uhaul for the trip. Depending on how much room is left, I am planning on putting my fazer in the back. Or, put it in first, and work around it.
Does anyone have experience doing this, and/or could you give some...
TL;DR : Throttle was cutting in and out and now the bike is dead and won't even start. Need ideas. More detail below.
So at the end of a my first ride of the year I was almost home when the throttle cut out on me (felt like I had just completely closed the throttle) even though I was...
My fiancee and I love Mountain biking.. and motorcycling (his: FZ6, hers: FZ6R). Its my dream to mount up the bicycles on my FZ6, and ride the motorcycles to the trails.
But how?
My 2 thoughts:
1: Get a tail rack, and mount 2 cycle trays off it like such,
but then the bike is way up...
I had the bike apart for a repaint and the fuel pump was removed, wrapped and stored over the winter
Now since putting the bike back together no matter how little gas is in the tank the gauge always reads full.
I checked the connectors and I removed the pump to see if the arm was stuck.
I...
Heya folks!
Been trying to get my stupid PC3 working properly (I can't seem to get any discernible changes when loading maps, despite having the O2 sensor gone and unplugging the battery for a time between changing the map) and in the midst of doing that, went out on a test ride.
I know our...
Hello everybody!
Newbie from CT here! I've been on and off bikes for a few years, spent a lot of time off and last summer decided to jump back in. Started out with a Ninja 650 - great bike to get my confidence back, but not exactly a ton of fun.
Friend was selling his low miles 2004 Fazer and...
I have a 2004 Fz6 with the old round style speedo and I'm converting over to a naked bike. I ordered a headlight kit off of eBay and the speedo bracket is for the newer model speedo (came with the right back plate for the speedo though). Anyone have any pictures of a bracket or know where to get...
