FS: Alpinestars SP-1 leather 1 piece suit

36" waist / 32" inseam. Also, I haven't weighed this, but shipping isn't really an option. I don't use paypal or any other means of payment outside of face to face meeting.

FS: Alpinestars SP-1 leather 1 piece suit

Sorry, $400 obo for suit, and $50 for back protector. I edited the original post. I'm 6' and was 190 when I used the suit. I'm closer to 205 now and it still fits, but is getting on the tight side with the back protector in.

    Triumph Street Triple R Review

For anyone in the San Diego area, North County Yamaha will have the Triumph demo truck out this Saturday and Sunday. I got the call saying it's a customer appreciation day, but I won't be able to make it. Probably a good thing as the Daytona 675 is the bike on top of my want to own list :D

1st stunt attempted... FAIL. Is this fixable?

Wow, I haven't seen that damage from frame sliders before. Now I'm totally split as I have the motivation sliders on my bike. 1. IMO, most insurance companies will seriously consider writing off any bike with frame damage; including scratches/gouges. 2. I've had friends that ride...

    frank thomas rage gloves

Based on my previous reviews: Purchased 04/09 Fixed velcro myself 07/09 Complete failure 05/10 The gloves made it a year of daily riding and the seams on the palm and cuff completely blew apart. Went to put the gloves on today and ended up with half a cuff and 3/4 of a palm attached...

French Bikers Fight for Their Rights

Repost of Cool French Protest French motorcyclists more angry than ever UK France Bikers.com Great pictures to go along with their protesting. I don't know how much good it'll do, but they had quite the turnout above ground and below.

    March 2010 SoCal Ride

Looks like you guys had fun! Bummed I missed out, but replaced the clutch cable today and will get out and play next time. Front brake = evil when it comes to loose surface. Looks like you were on the front brake, hit the loose shoulder and lost the front. Glad it was minor! Look forward to...

    How to replace clutch cable

Thanks for the write up. I get to do this sometime this weekend as mine snapped on me at 9k miles. I'm sure I missed some signs, but it sure looked fine last week and then chose a really crappy spot to let go today.

    Brake Squeak

I'm curious to see if your problems go away. Mine have squeaked with two sets of pads whenever there is light pressure applied. It drives me nuts going stop sign to stop sign as that's when I'm barely on the brakes and the squeaking happens. Hard braking, or moving at speed and as quiet as can...

Why are riding pants often ignored?

I fit into the idiot category I guess, but at least I know it and it's a calculated risk, as Wavex pointed out. For my commute, I'm very familiar with the roads, it's all side streets, and I wear jeans, boots, leather jacket with upgraded armor, helmet, and gloves. I do have overpants and I...

Those of you with multiple bikes

I've got it easy. FZ6 for the roads, commute, and travel. XR650R for short jaunts down the road, dirt, and desert. Modding wise, the XR is pretty much modded to the max; it's essentially a team honda baja 1000 bike. The FZ I haven't really done much with other than handlebars and FE, but I...

    Saturday 12/19 Palomar ride

It was a great day out there Sat and you guys got some great pictures showing it. I was on the mountain early, Clemson wasn't even there yet, and then I did Mesa Grande -> Julian -> Banner, warned a group of sport riders about the CHP just sitting on 78, -> Yaqui -> Montezuma -> and back home.
