Can't make it tomorrow..just read this thread now! I have circled the 1st of August though. I'll check back here for any updates!! Looking forward to this!!!
Have fun!!
Not too bad. I think it was around $400 Canadian for the side rack, bags and adapter kit. I've had the Shad topcase and rack for a long time now, and that was relatively cheap too.
looks good there rino.
I have the same side bags..the motopaks and I really like them. Just upgraded to hard givi's but I'm keeping the soft set just in case!
I have Givi E21's and so far I really like them! I have soft bags that held more, but having the ability to lock your stuff and keep it dry is definitely worth the money! These are the lowest priced option for side cases, and the bracket was around $150..can't really remember. Having problems...

Did you ever do long-distance with just the fz1 bar, no risers? If so, how was it? I might look into getting the risers, just atking it one step at a time.
Thanks...I don't really want that FZ6 logo on the front and didn't know that all the light smoke ones came like that. Thanks for the pointer.
Well, I guess I'm looking for the dark smoke one now! :)
These scorpions are about 50% mesh, zip out waterproof/windproof liner. A fantastic buy, as you can tell online since they are mostly sold out!! Call your dealer.

Nice setup and it looks awesome!!
Mind if I ask how tall you are? I'm 6'1 and looking to swap my bar for either the FZ1 bar or rizoma bar...can't decide! I want something that's more comfortable for touring, as the stock bars always give me a pinch in my traps. I know, weird. Have you done a...
Here is my 05 with new Givi E21's and my Shad 37 topcase. The E21's are smaller than I thought, and haven't used them for touring yet, but like the security and water-tightness of them.
Hey Dave!
Thanks for the support of the ride this year and it's great to know that the safety council is on board too! I've had the pleasure of volunteering for this event for 2 years now and it is awesome!
Yes, bring Mr.D. He's all excited about his bike now that it;s back together and...
Thanks to Kamloops I am now enjoying my dual Sena headset! These things are friggin' awesome! So many more features over my old scalas and way clearer mic and speakers.
This year's Ride to Live on Vancouver Island will be happening on Sunday June 5th. Once again we are raising money for prostate cancer awareness, education and research.
Despite rain (and I mean it was pouring) we had 400 motorcycles and riders come out and support this cause, raising a...
