I went to the race and it was awesome. It was a bit cloudy and windy and chilly where i was sitting in the South Vista on turn one but it was a great race and a Yamaha/Fiat bike won. On Friday they let us ride our motorcycles on the GP track. A once in a lifetime thrill riding over the bricks...
I went to the Motogp race in Indy and saw thousands of motocycles. I saw only one other FZ6 and I was really looking. I love my FZ6 but sure is not as popular as we all think. I saw mostly R6's and R1's, and tons of Ducati's, BMW's Suzuki's and Hondas and a couple of Harley's HEEHEE.
I can do Missouri starting in St. Louis. It seems like a no brainer, but the ride needs a stop in St. Joseph Missouri where the Pony Express actually started in the 1800's. Just a thought.
I get around 45 mpg. My F trip starts around 145 miles. So I figured i could go about 225 until empty. I went 55 miles with my F trip and ran out of gas with 200 miles on my odom. What confused me after pushing my bike to the gas station. I refiled the tank using the centerstand and was only...
Today i ran out of gas.. I knew i was pushing my luck but i am getting 45 mpg so i figured i could go about 225 before i would run out of gas. I ran out at 200 miles...i pushed it to a gas station and was only able to get 4.4 of gas into the tank......i used the center stand while fueling...
I have a question. I ran out of gas after going 200 miles. I have been averaging 45 mpg. I should be able to go approx. 225 miles before i'm empty. After pushing my FZ6 a long mile up hill to a gas station I was only able to get 4.4 gallons of gas into the bike. I used the center stand while...
I'm a new rider and I took the MSF class. My first bike is a 08 FZ6. If you respect this bike like any bike , you will be fine. My only beef with this forum is many people have the opinion that the FZ6 is not a starter bike. It is only dangerous if you dont respect its power. A 250cc can also...
I am a new member to this forum. I read all the new posts daily to educate myself . But I also have come to the conclusion that some members are FZ6 SNOBS. Everyone should have the right to voice their opinion on this forum...but again its just an opinion. I am a new owner of a 08 FZ6 and new...
I just bought a 2008 and my title says 124. I thought i had wrong title at I checked VIN numbers. They matched the bikes. I do still believe its around 98 not 124.
