2007 and up SW-Motech Blaze saddle bag system

The receivers for the support arms bolt onto the passenger foot peg mount, and the earlier generation doesn't have the same passenger foot peg setup. It all comes down to how much adaptation and customizing you want to do. I mean, I could mount a Harley engine in a Hayabusa given enough time in...

I gotta believe ~$24 should cover it for ground. If it's more, I'll eat the difference.

Well, I didn't think this through. I got hold of the FZ6, then got scheduled for full knee replacement surgery. Moved the FZ6 on to a new home and got hold of something with more relaxed ergos. Hence... this luggage system I just bought here a few months ago is again up for grabs. $200 plus...

Givi top case rack (351FZ) and M5 plate - 07- Gen II FZ6

Not a dumb question at all. Givi photographs stuff in less than optimal ways. They're not very clear about it at all in their pics, and that's disappointing. Nope, you don't need the side racks to use the top rack. (but you do need the top rack to use the side racks) PS... nothing...

Dual headlight mod is only for looks.

Not surprising as it's a high-beam projector and it's meant to wash the road differently than your normal low beam projector. Also, be sure your bulb is properly seated.

Bike dies as tho the kill switch was hit

You sound quite defensive; I certainly wasn't suggesting otherwise. I was simply trying to find him some in-person assistance. Lighten up. No one's pissing in anyone's wheaties, here.

Bike dies as tho the kill switch was hit

When will these companies start using properly designed circuits... :( The 'Strom was built with similarly poor choices.

Bike dies as tho the kill switch was hit

If you use the kill switch regularly (I'm one who does), it's *likely* (but not guaranteed) not the issue. Unless water has gotten in there. Regular use of switch helps deter arcing, corrosion, etc. It's worth pulling apart to check for sure, and while you're in there give it a good cleaning...

Noticing a trend in FZ6 Horsepower Obsession

At the risk of sounding like a jerk... Hah! Like I really care about that! ;) ... I generally think that anyone who believes that almost any modern bike isn't powerful enough either can't ride or is some kind of an @$*&@)#. Do I like faster machines? Yes, of course. But nothing you're likely to...

    2007 Yamaha FZ6 20k 3000$

+1 These are supposed to be sport-TOURING bikes, aren't they? ;) Seriously, the meet-half-way thing is a good idea, and won't cost either of you too terribly much.
