I've actually had this happen a couple of times since I've had my 05 FZ6. Like yours its random. every time it has happened I just lept the clutch in and shifted down another gear. Then I was able to up shift to the desired gear no problem. Not really sure why it happens though.

My butt seems to stay getting sore after an hour or so. I seen this pic onthe fz6-forums Facebook page and have been thinking about doing it on my seat. It is the stock seat recovered and re-padded.

Normally I down shift to 1st between 10 and 15 mph. If I do downshift before 15 it's cuz I was think I was going good into 2nd.

It turned out to be a blown headlight fuse. I would suspect that water got in the relay or something, because I got dumped on. I'm not sure what popped the first day. There must have been some moisture in there since it worked 2 days later that caused the fuse to blow.

Today after letting it sit outside in the sun for most of the day. I started it up and both low and high beams worked. So I went for a short ride. At some point during the ride the lights stopped working again.
