Basically, in 1st gear when I hit roughly 6000 rpm the engine/exhaust starts making a 'duel noise' - the engine sounds like it's starting to strain. Then at 10000 rpm the bike loses power and actually starts to slow down!! It feels like a massive dip in power. Anyone any ideas please?

My log book says that my next (second) service is at 6000 miles. Should I have changed my oil before this (not counting the 600 mile service which I've already had done). If I wait for the 6000 miles, what are the bad points of keeping the same oil all that time? Cheers

I've got all the gear (probably more than I need) but for a track day I thought you needed a full racing, 1 piece suit?? The only problem I can forsee with looking way ahead is surely you need to know you're not about to run over a manhole cover, or some dodgy bit of loose tarmac?

With my commute being through rush hour London traffic I use it all the time. It's perfect for slow control of the bike!! I tend not to use it over 10 mph though, just slow control.
