tasop7, Thanks for the input. I was at work, so I just revived my old thread. I will start a new thread.
It is a great bike. But I also have a 2007 Triumph Daytona 675, which is a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. So no need for a second bike.
SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
I'm selling my 2007 FZ6 it is blue with 6043 miles on the clock. I bought it in April of 2008, it had 1700 miles on it at the time. It is pretty much stock except for a fender eliminator (it was on when I bought it), Puig double bubble windscreen in light smoke (I have the...
For me, my 2007 Triumph Daytona 675 is more comfortable than my FZ6. It just fits me. The torque and sound of the three cylinder motor, make it a pleasure to ride also.
Striple-R, but then I'm biased, since I have a Daytona. If you don't mind me asking, but what type of pants are you looking at? I'm trying to find some myself.
Do you have somewhere close by to go try them on? That would be the only way to know for sure. If not, measure his head. Some online sites will tell you which size to buy for a given size head.

Gongrats. Have you joined triumph675.net yet? Great site. After not riding for 10 years, I was worried about my wrists hurting, so I bought the FZ6. Well, my wrists hurt. I figured if my wrists were going to hurt, I might as well get a Daytona. Now my wrists don't hurt at all. Go figure...
I will 2nd what Shamus McFeley suggested, check out Newenough.com. I have a perf. leather that i use most of the time, I have a mesh with a waterproof liner that I use in the rain, but I might get a textile for colder weather. I mihgt get this...
Different shel materials. 700 = •Fiberglass/Kevlar Matrix Shell, 400 = •Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Engineered Shell. I believe the 700 is lighter. I just got a 700 a couple weeks ago, it's quieter than the HJC I had, but that might be because it fits better. The HJC was a little loose. The...
