    Sena SMH-5 Intercom System Previewed

Hey Rick, how did it go with the unit? I'm thinking about getting one to use on my Shark Vision-R as the prices seems right. The Vision'R is also designed to be used with the SharkTooth (has a little pocket at the back of the helmet for the battery) but don't know how well will it accommodate...

For Sale: biuts and pieces FZ6 S1 2005

Tell me about it! (the traffic) I experience it everyday and it never ceases to amaze me how some people are even allowed in our roads/streets... Regarding the parts, sadly the bike was taken away by the insurance company and it's all theirs now :( They were from y 2005 FZ6 (had them on...

Before I got the ZF6 last year I had test rides on VFR800's and Sprint ST's. Love d the Triumph but found it a bit too... "relaxed"? I find the viffer a bit more sportier but the ST is a great bike (and it's a triple!)

Thank you all for your comments, really appreciated and great to see what an appreciative lot we are. Yesterday i Took the viffer for a run and crossed paths with an FZ6 at a set of lights and almost missed my green admiring the fizzer, I gotta say I still love those machines! But... the VFR...

Yes, the "turbo" (V-TEC) kicks in at 7000RPM and is not brutal but feels great (can't wait until I put some decent pipes on it to make it growl like it should). You asked for it...

Thank you all again. Will definitely stick around (how couldn't I with such a great bunch?) The VFR is a 2002 model in blue, all stock standard and it rides great (love the spread f torque across any revs). Few mods already on the pipeline...

Like wise Rick. Will definitely be coming back here. Erci, you talking about the VFRness? I've done my bit of research before getting the viffer and got a few tips form fellow owners on some forums.

Even though I haven't contributed much and have only been a member of these wonderful forums for a few months I wanted to thank everyone in here for their great advice and sharing of information regarding these beautiful machines that are the FZ6's. Sadly my FZ6 is no more (insurance wrote it...

For Sale: biuts and pieces FZ6 S1 2005

For Sale: bits and pieces FZ6 S1 2005 (NOW WITH PICS!) Pictures and a couple of items added! Sadly, my ’05 FZ6 has been written off so while I wait for the payout I might as well get rid of some of the parts I was keeping. Putting it here for the Australian fizzers as posting it overseas is not...

    Gone naked!

Not much difference at all. I never understood the point of sport screens on bikes with no clip-ons handlebars as you can't really "tuck in" so the semi fairings didn't do much for me at high speeds unless I positioned myself in a weird and uncomfortable position. And I know it's a...

I got a set of Pirelli Dragon's from Motorcycle Parts & Gear – Dirt Bike/MX, ATV, Street Bike & Motorcycle Accessories | MotoSport shipped for only $250AUD (the whole set) but looks like they are not doing tyres anymore... I woudl try ATV Parts, ATV Tires, Dirt Bike Parts, Motocross Gear...

    Braided brake lines

I can't talk from experience as I've only had my Goodridge set installed a few weeks ago but they work a treat, look great and were within my budget (paid around $130AUD for sport-front and back lines, shipped, from EBC Brakes 4u Master Supplier for EBC brakes-Goodridge & ...).

fz6 ventura rack and bag for sale

I may be interested in the rack itself so Rick can have the bag... When I bought my 05 it came with the brackets and lower arms but no rack. The guy said he thought it was a GearSack but I'm not sure how to check... I may measure the bar diameters and distances (if it stops raining, damn...

    2005 FZ6 parts for sale - Sydney

Closed After finishing most of the mods I had planned I've a surplus of parts that I need to get rid of. Due to the weight/size of parts pickup is preferred although I can post to anywhere within Australia on request (reason why I'm posting this in the Australia sub-forum rather than on the...

    R6 front end done!

That's how much I paid for it but I've seen them going for more (and less too), I guess it's a question of luck and opportunity. Here in Australia we have a really good website (findapart.com.au) where you put the parts you need and it send requests to multiple wreckers (dozens of them!) and...

    R6 front end done!

I was lucky enough to find a guy in the "other" forum (sp0rtbikes) that was selling these forks with the original Sharkbait's spacer kit (axle and caliper spacers plus fender block mount). Hi was very friendly and helpful and even threw in the calipers for next to nothing. All up I payed less...

    R6 front end done!

And here are some pics. Sorry about the quality, these were quickly taken with my phone. Oh, and the bike needs a cleaning after the rainy days we've been getting lately, hopefully will have some time on the weekend... After doing the forks, calipers and line I've also added the Pirelli...

    Gone naked!
