Just ordered one of these. Will let you know how good it works once I get to try it. Also, what are you guys wearing under your gloves to keep your hands warm? Went out for a ride in 45 degree weather this weekend and even with thin cotton gloves under my regular ones my hands were freezing!

Plus, there's usually guys with cameras parked at that spot on weekends so that may give some people incentive to showboat.

I ride that road almost every weekend. There is a slight camber on that curve and the radius decreases midway into the turn a bit too. But I think what happens is after you are through the corner there is an uphill straight and I think guys get on the gas too quick to power up the incline.

I love my FZ6 and will probably keep it for a long time as it does everything really well. But if I ever decide/can afford to have another bike in my garage then this 1098 SF or the 848 would have to be it!:BLAA:

Yep the dry clutch is a love it or hate it affair. At idle it makes a racket. Then again, when you have 170hp how much time are you gonna spend idling??:D

Went out for a Rock Store/Mulholland ride today with a buddy I haven't seen in a while. He recently picked up an 1198S. Beautiful bike. We took it easy mostly, but on one particular straight he opened it up. I thought my bike was quick but he left me like I was standing still :Sport: Not sure...

I adjusted the slack down to about an 1/8" last night. Went out for a ride today and it really helped the snatchyness.

Absolutely! Hey Lytehouse, just curious how your FZ1 compares to the 6. MotoJoe, last weekend it rained (I know, hard to believe!) and with the time change it was dark when I was getting home from work. Today was the first chance for a decent photo op!

I just picked up an 07 with 20K miles on it yesterday and it runs like champ. Don't be put off by the mileage. If anything, an 07 with 7K on it is only 1400 miles a year and you should ask yourself, with so little miles, how long was the bike sitting not being ridden.

Took the bike out for a quick spin last night & HOLY CRAP! it's an absolute missile after 8K rpms:D (At least compared to a 250).

Bought it from a guy in Santa Monica and rode it home to the SFV up Pacific Coast Highway and through the canyons back to the Valley. The first mile or two I was caught off guard by the short 1st gear and snappy throttle response but got comfortable with it after a few miles. First...

So I got the bike today! 07 FZ6 with 20K miles. I'll post pics as soon as I get a chance. Gotta say, the difference between this bike and the lil 250 is night and day. Glad I didn't go with the FZ1, it would've been waaaay to much bike for me.:BLAA:
