I was thinking the same when he grabbed the cup, too. Perhaps he just accelerated and then held the clutch with left hand allowing him to grab the cup. Maybe did the same when he handed the lady her cup? Pretty tactful!
This is why I avoid open streets like the plague, and I always stay away from other cars as best as possible. I have such a huge fear of the bike being knocked over or bumped.
My brother's brand new Versys 650 (only 1600km on it) got knocked over right infront of his house. The good news is...
Thanks for sharing that trip. I'm always curious about naked bikes on the open road. I've been so close to switching to naked on my bikes but always decide against it last minute due to my highway miles. And a little to the fact my bike still looks amazing with a 'short-ish' fairing. :BLAA:
I just watched your video and it looks a bit hard to tell when exactly the officer lit you up and how long before you noticed. One thing you could do if you are ever concerned is to acknowledge them somehow - this is most useful if you don't intend to pull over immediately (looking for a safer...
I went with RhinoMoto bar ends for both my FZ6 and my FZ1, and am very happy with them. Like Erci mentioned, be prepared to do a little bit of filing on the mirrors, depending what kind you get. For me, it was little more than 2 minutes with a nail file out of a swiss army knife, and it fit like...
I'm sorry, did I trash your job at some point and not remember it?
That was incredibly rude. Please don't even begin to assume you understand why I took this job or why it is I do what I do.
Thanks.
He may have asked you to sit in his car for a few reasons:
-It's safer for you and for him. Less chance of injury if a drunk driver hits his cruiser with you in it, than your bike with you on it. He also doesn't have to stand on the open road next to your bike.
-If it's cold outside, he may be...
I test rode a Z1000 and CB1000RA when I sold my FZ6.
And then I bought an FZ1. :BLAA:
Something about it puts a huge smile on my face even when I could have had pretty much any other bike.
End of the day, "dream bike" or not, I got the one that still makes me smile. I just hope my...
It was quite the ordeal, majority of downtown Calgary was closed off to everyone. The streets were nearly empty because the mayor requested everyone stay home to allow emergency workers quick access. The flooding was the highest it has ever been. A lot of people were displaced from their homes...
This reminds me of people that pull their knee-high socks over their jeans when riding a bicycle. I understand the function but come on.. there are better ways to achieve the exact same thing. More stylish ways, more importantly. :ban::BLAA:
Thanks all! I do love the FZ1 so far, it is indeed a perfect big brother (or sister) to the FZ6. Mainly because there are enough differences that it is a totally different bike, but enough similarities that I still know how to work on it and recognize the important bits. Already changed the oil...
I wasn't planning on selling my FZ6 for a while. In fact, I was going to do a naked conversion and stick with that for a while, and eventually move up to the liter bikes. However, I stumbled upon two great deals: one excellent offer for my FZ6, and an opportunity to purchase one of three liter...
Yeah, I figured as much. I was in the same market for exhaust but couldn't find what I wanted so I ended up buying new. I wish I could sell these for 400 but that would be at a massive loss to me!
Thank you though.. I'll keep trying! :cheer:
All prices reduced (and handlebar sold) because they are no good to me in my closet!
It's too bad carbon fiber is not a popular finish for exhaust, would've got titanium if I had known better!
PM if interested. :D
Will include free shipping within Canada.
