My fz will have a new owner tomorrow. I only put 6000 miles on it in a year, so its time to let it go. Well, that and tuition, life, bills, etc Full time student is a short term loss ! I will buuy another. No doubt.

After a 3 hour 2up ride today, I'm in need of convincing. The ergos of the stock fz6 are just too agressive for me + the wife + any distance. I'd really like to have +1" up & +1" back. I can put my feet on the crash bars, for some added comfy, but -need- that up and back to make the bike fit...

limits found: backed in, or whatever kids are calling it now almost a low/high side while powering out of a turn. mostly just found my limits of experience of the higher power to be had in the upper rpm range. thankfully, no big deal, going to be backing off quite a bit and regrouping...

two used earplugs do a good job of holding the terminal nuts up close to the terminal while yore putting. things bacl together. the fzs battery is the worst setup I've encountered, just wanted to share a handy trick:

2005 fz6 w 30500 miles: stem bearing was out of adjustment (loose) when I bought the bike. last night I. used the small hammer and drift method to tighten the adjustment nut (top bearing) and snugged (12lbs or so) the lock nut above that. after tightening the tree nut to 90lbs, tested again...
