Draggin Jeans sells Kevlar liners. Basically they are Kevlar long underwear you can wear under clothes or gear for extra protection. I paid $150 but do not recommend them. Not saying Kevlar is bad, just these liners. I've never crash tested them but don't have a lot of faith that they will help...

I use Rust Check. Actually the guy at the dealership recommended it and he sells cable lube. It works great and is cheap. BTW read the instructions that come with your cable lube tool for fitting it to different diam cables, otherwise you'll end up with a lot of wasted lube where you don't want...

These were my first pair of gloves. Not bad short gloves, but..... Short gloves like this are cool in the heat but leave your wrist exposed to pavement. Gauntlets protect a lot better. Also the strap has a tendancy to undo itself which might lead to the clove coming off when you really need...

I love my Cortech Adreniline gloves. Think they are the best sports gauntlet gloves for the money. Paid $75 on ebay. The have Kangaroo leather palms, armor and outside seams in the fingers for comfort.
