Cloggy,
With the FZ6, I waited 2 years, before fitting the akrapovic's.
When they were installed, riding the bike was 50% more fun.
I also did not have the urge to ride fast and hard. I love cruising in the lower RPM, and enjoying the deep exhaust sound.
that's the main reason for the...
After i put some km's on the bike, i Will write a little review with a comparisation to the fz6.
Power related stuff Will come later, since i have to break in the engine.
I just hope That winter in belgium Will end soon. Next week again 3 degrees Celsius, And freezing at night!
Thanks Cloggy!
Funny that you mention the friendly-part :p
I just tried registering for the FZ8 sister-site, and I got an error, saying that I am a spammer or something like that and that i cannot be registered :D
How's that for a start :BLAA:
Ha i'm sorry. I totally mis interpreted that sentence. (I'm Belgian)
It's a bone stock FZ8N. the pic was taken on a abs model, and that model has a bellypan.
Mine is without abs, so no belly pan.
Thanks motojoe122,
Yes, the drill pics where a nice example of an amateur at work :D
I will still keep one eyeball on this forum. It has helped me alot in the past with advice and information. Thanks to everybody in the FZ6-forum-family :)
The one thing that I thought would never happen, actually DID happen today.
I sold my precious FZ6 to the dealership and I baught a brand new FZ8 naked. And I only had to give 3500€ (catalog price 9090€)
So that was an one time offer I could not resist.
The reason that the price of the...
Apart from the ergonomics and quality material, there is also the factory testing to concider.
I've been told that a "cheaper" helmet is only factory tested on 2 sides (side impact and top impact). Where a more expensive one is tested on multiple sides (side, top, back, front)
I have the...
I ordered an iSaw A1 yesterday.....

Hi guys, the issue is fixed, this is just for your information...
the winter in belgium has been very warm and wet.
The bike was stored in de garage during 2 months of rain.
when I found one dry day (on december the 29th 13°C) I was going for a ride.
I started the bike with no problem...
Last day I was being tailgated (not sure if this is a real verb..) but anyway here's the story all about how my life got twisted upside down:
My friend (on a aprilia 50cc) and me (FZ6) where cruising down a long 2 way road. We were enjoying the hot weather very much, and we were riding next...
I think that the back pressure stays the same as long as you don't make the muffler holes bigger in diameter.
Did mine before I bought Akra's, and the bike was running fine without power commander or re-adjustement
I have stock levers.
Always 2 for clutch and 2 for braking. Yesterday I even did a small stoppie with 2 fingers during an emergency-brake from 120km/h to zero. (stock brakes also)
And just for those who are curious... 1 (very big) toe on the gear lever and 4 on the rear brake.
2 cheeks on...
