yeah, the truck was lifted. but i was pretty young at the time and had no idea about any of that kind of stuff. the car caught the rear axle when it went under and made the bed of the truck roll up under it

i can't remember where, it was a while back, might not have even been an fz6, but someone had a V1 hardwired into their bike and it still looked good so its more than probably doable on an fz6, its just v1s are kind of bigger than the average radar detector as far as i know (i use beltronics myself)

this always bothered me too until a few years back my mom got rear ended in our truck (i miss that thing :( ) by some guy in a teeny tiny honda. totalled the truck. his car was in pieces. (our truck taught him not to run into another one hehe). she was in the hospital for a week and ended up...

luckily the local harley shop (only like a 6th of a mile away from my house!) runs a garage for bike owners to store their rides in during the winter / when on vacation. so i could just drop mine off and walk home. :D

surfinfazer do you have any pics of your fz6..? i'm pretty sure i've seen you (or another fz6!) around union street a few times, on the dry days we have. (seems to be getting fewer and fewer) i'm not an owner yet but i've been talking to a few yamaha dealerships around and i'm pretty convinced...
