I rode my 05 FZ6 from coast to coast and back in 05 in the month of September...was about 9,000+ miles. Bike worked flawlessly and was very comfortable day in and day out...would def do it again. No I did not document. Was just for fun.

Great post - just curious...is that the smoked version of the light? Also - why would you install this and keep the rear indicators? I have thought about doing this and ditching the rear indicators but would have to modify the rear fender eliminator to get rid of the holes for the stalk...

Decisions decisions... Race tech's are a great mod...I have an Ohlin's rear, gave them my specs, weight with gear on etc and they setup the forks for me. Probably the single best mod I have made to the bike...suspension.

Not saying you are wrong but I think the color (black metallic) could be referencing the plastics. The tanks on the 2008 or 2009 that I have googled look dark blue... I could not find a pic of a black tank on a bike that was offered from Yamaha OEM...again I could be wrong...
