When you're talking to them also ask about a front sprocket nut recall - my 2004 had that one along with the TPS. Any decent dealer should tell you about both without being asked but better safe than sorry. The TPS takes a few hours but the sprocket nut is quick - in any case it easier to get...

Glad you got out clean on that one - I've seen whole wheels come off cars while moving before but not just the tire - that's crazy. Based on those whole wheels - there's a lot of momentum in a 40+ lb rolling package that would wreck your day on a bike.

At the track he was riding (NHIS) that would definitely suck hard for turn 3 - a sharp right hander up hill with a transition off the oval to road race portion of the track. In that class I'm guessing he wasn't there to drag his exhaust hard but more so just for fun of "racing" his thundering...

I guess technically I both interpolated between 198 and 418 and then extrapolated down from 198 to 125 b/c somebody had asked. I wish I could say that thermo was a long distant memory but it's not for me.
