The good places are too far for that kind of traffic, but we could probably make it out black diamond rd., or out to north shore rd. HWY 7 is going to suck on the way to Elbe, but it should be ok on the way back. North shore rd. is not all that great, but I think I remember you saying you were new to riding so, that might be a good choice. Hwy 7 should be fine though if we're patient about getting to the fun parts. let me know what you feel comfortable with, I'm good either way.

lets ride tues. I got something going on from 3-4, but I'm good after that.

What days off do you have? If you dont mind my asking. It seems I can never get a ride together with the members on this site. I'm pretty sure its because I have mon and tues off

I have never been to Mt. St. Helens, so I'm going this sat. The one thing I've learned since I've been riding is the more the better. Anyone who wants to go is welcome. Its going to be a slow to medium paced ride. Two up is cool and encouraged. the ride is about 4 hours one way, so be prepared.

I posted a new link about the ride on monday. so far I got four of my friends who wanna go. Let me know if your down. I also posted the ride on pnwriders.

I think it was prolly clubXterra but not sure - I was scouring all the xterra forum classifieds I could find looking for private sales. I am only looking for the 2005+ - I want the 4L motor right or wrong I find the 3.3 from the earlier gen lacking and I don't want to mod to get more. I did see that comparo - and some others - it seems to have universally good reviews (including reliability) which is nice to see.

Random brainwave - but did I see you in a posting on an Xterra forum (same id and photo I think)? If so, any feedback for someone who's thinking of getting one (new body style).
