ok this is what i am going to do tomarrow i am buying some leo vince pipes and keep my fz6 for 3 or 4 yrs and have it paid off. then my insurance will be cheaper by then and get a new r1. because now the new R1 are so bad @$$ and by 3 or 4 yrs down the road the liter bikes will be even better...

i think i just need to buy me a exhaust and a tcp seat cowl and some bars. and i will be happy. i just hate my dirt bike seat on the fz6. look at my dirt bike seat and the fz seat:D

the power is no problem, i own a 2007 zx6, it pretty fast, but kills me on long rides; very lean forward. i would like to have a faster upright bike. but its to late now, i should have done my home work befor buying a new bike. i am not that worried about it the fz6 is still a kick @$$ bike...

ive only hade it for a few month's i work out of town m-f. so i have'nt had much time to ride it. untill now.

if you dont care for more power or alot more after market parts then get the fz6. i like haveing to option of chose from tons of new style full-exhaust and other after market parts. but if you dont care for that stuff then go for the fz6 its way cheaper in the long run.

ya i know insurance dubles, and its not work it. my bike is real clean not a sratch on it. but look at how nice that 09 fz1 looks.

more power, better parts offerd, looks better. i messed up i should have bought the fz1 in the first place, dont get me wrong i love my fz6:rockon: just like the looks of the fz1 better and all of the better exhaust and other parts you can get.

faster better handling, and way more after market parts. looks better IMO.

i have a 2007 fz6 with 1600miles on it mint condistion. went to yahama today and they said the will give me 5,500.00 trade in if i bought their new 2009 fz1 or 2009 r6. the fz1 is 10,000 out the door. but i still owe 7,000 on my fz6 since i just bought it not that long ageo. you think its worth...

today i seen this asian girl who was like noteven 5ft tall maybe 105lbs smashing on a busa. you will do ok.

i looked on their site and i cant find a full exhaust for the fz6 only the old style slip-ons??? where did you find this full exhaust????:confused:

i know that all carbon fiber turns yellow. but cant find any pics of it turned yellow. just wanted to know if it looks real bad or is it kinda hard to tell unless you are looking real close to it?

i hear that carbon fiber turns yellow after sun or heat? sime of my friends have CF pipes and they havent turnd yellow and the arey about 2yrs old. if someone has any pics of carbonfiber turning yellow please post. or if they hade their pipes turn yellow let me know. i was going to order the leo...

Re: new screw in plates i was thinking on doing this but it is real hard making the teeth on the brake pedals that slide on that shaft.

if your having a hard time poping it up. just put ur left foot on your back peg, and ur right foot by the back brake pop the clucth and rev that baby up. if you start to go too high let off the gas and tap ur back brake and set it down.
