What RPM does your bike idle at? it should be in the ballpark of 1200, if less, then it might die, If it is set properly, then you are still letting it out too fast.

nice bike and 12k IS low miles for a Yamaha I have 25k on my 07 and she still runs like new and all i have done is oil and tires...

Interesting to say the least! Gotta admit, ours is not the most robust engine out there to show how tough your oil is, but very cool that they recognized the beauty of it!

if you let the clutch out slower, it can absolutely be let out without throttle. but it is best to give a little gas AND let it out slowly

awesome results! I have used the $20 kits that wet sand then use a "Sealer" and got similar results, they are starting to yellow again, so I will definately try this first. how long does it last? is there a way to seal it so that it can last longer? I would like them to just stay clear instead...

i would be weary of riding with the helmet on the lock, it puts it awfully close to the chain and the strap might get sucked in, I agree that you should leave it at her house or just get a bungee net, they are like $10...which is way less than an ER Visit.

I know i am going to catch heck for this, but plug the tire, or if you want to be really safe, take it off and patch it from the inside. I have ridden on 3 plugged tires, including track days and have never had an issue. heck, the rear tire on Keira's bike got plugged when it was 300 miles new...

I have tried to use MP3 players other than Ipods, and always come back to the Pods, have have now had 5 different players and they all sucked in comparison...

I am with everyone else too, seems like a big price tag for not much more over what we have in the FZ6, may as well bite the bullet and get the FZ1 :)

also check the connector at the kick stand safety switch, those have a habit of coming loose.

hills help, but you can definately do it on the flat and you don't need a ton of speed to do it, as long as the injectors prime, if not you may as well just start taking some stuff apart and get a jump start
