Well I finally got my luggage on the bike. The givi kits suck, in order to install the side case kit you do not simply open the box and install the kit. You have to order ANOTHER kit, the monorack eliminator kit. SO basically you have to buy a kit to install the 1st kit for those that do not...

same here, who cares what gear you are in. once you ride enough you get a feel for what gear you NEED to be in by the sound of the bike, the rpms, the road, etc. i always thought a gear indicator was sort of a novelty that is not needed.

Great looking bike! I don't know what all the fuss is about with the wind. I love naked bikes and never thought the wind was any problem, maybe a little on a really cold night. My gf rode hers close to 1000 miles to Canada and back without a complaint. Yamaha did a good job on the 9 and wow...

i had them on my fz6 and now on my ninja. when you get them just take an allen wrench and tighten up the adjuster bolts and you should never have any issues.

yeah anytime you get new tires you will have that. my new rear though is 190/55 and the stock was 190/50 so this one is a little taller.
