    NYC tires

Best tire based on your riding profile and funds would be the PR4's. I've always been a Michellin guy, and replaced my stock tires on my Multi this summer after 7k miles which were Pirelli Scorpions to the PR4's. Plus, I've read great reviews that the PR4's does very well in the rain. No...

Friendly competition between me and the local motor cop

LOL....I actually rode this Saturday with a coworker, rode up to Lake Tahoe, had lunch and hit Kingsbury Grade then up to VC via the truck route. As far as the slow race, really surprised how many riders cannot ride slow, and really disappointed in our motor unit, I've spanked two different...

Friendly competition between me and the local motor cop

Here's another video taken during this fall during Reno's Street Vibrations Motorcycle Rally. Great food, music, vendors and competition showcasing me, of course. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu59QSiYZSo

One click from starter relay / no start

I've replaced the rectifier, I can recall having battery charging issues way back in the past.

One click from starter relay / no start

My starters brushes were worn, but I had over 100k miles on the bike so it had a lot of starts, so I'm guessing your brushes are good. Can you bump start the bike? You know, roll the bike with the ignition on and then pop the clutch while in gear.

    Time for new tires(or tyres)!!

I've been a life long Michellin user, over 100k miles on them. I'm currently running the PP3's on my FZ6, and the PR4's on the Ducati.

Out rode a motorcycle cop, again!

During Reno's Street Vibrations Motorcycle Rally, I entered several Slow Bike Races, and each time, I found myself going against the Reno PD Motor Unit. You must win your heats in order to advance, process of elimination. If you're not familiar with these races, 1st one to cross the finish...

    ROK Straps Review

I have a couple of sets, purchased them after reading great reviews, however I'm not too impressed with them. Yes, they work, but nothing special. Sometimes I prefer the bungee cord. But from a safety aspect that Cliff mentioned, much safer and it won't damage the hand rails.

Cop vs. biker: what do you think?

Back when I lived in Vegas, an unmarked police cruiser which appeared to have a prisoner in the back made a very bad lane change on me near the strip. Clearly cut me off and I wasn't shy using my Steibel horn for several seconds. The marked police cruiser following behind the unmarked unit who...

Went for a slide on the highway

As everyone has mentioned, proper braking technique is critical, it may save your life. But besides knowing how to properly apply the brakes to it's full potential, try avoiding getting into these situations. Make sure you are looking well ahead of you, we call it the 12 second rule. Yes...

    Venhill braided brake lines installed

I have the Venhill Steel Braided brake lines installed, it's about 6 years old. The lines really got discolored from age and the sunlight. It use to be clear or silver, know it's an ugly brown. I might have also blown one of the lines, I have to double check where the leak is coming from...
