    K & N Air Filter, hype or real ?

Well I bought a k&n off of eBay, the reusable factor was the selling point for me. I have one on my truck (2012 F250 diesel) but on my truck the air restriction was choking the turbo back. Thanks for everyone's input, some folks are pretty passionate about air filters, and oil :)

    K & N Air Filter, hype or real ?

So I just finished several weeks off from work and after a bunch of ripping around on the island with friends I am not sure if a K & A air filter is worth the price. I have some folks that are telling me it improves their power and gas mileage, and others that are telling me that it also...

Do you keep a mental note of what gear you're in??

Ha I just finished a long stretch off from work, not sure how many times I tried to shift to 7th, and here's a heads up. If 7th isn't there the first time it ain't gonna be there if you try again. I have really been thinking about a gear indicator ....

Canada Day Ride - converted a Harley owner

A group of us got together today and went for a bit of a ride. Decent collection of bikes, oddly one of the guys showed up on an Can-am. Part way through we started swapping bikes to see what each other were riding, I ended up on a Harley sportster ... he was on my bike. One of us was...

    Calgary floods

I was doing work in a plant we rushed out and the plant shutdown, when they start shutting down gas plants ... It's bad. 100000 people evacuated so far, several other towns are completed wiped out. Not good times anywhere at this point. Been notified that we are being mobilized out to...

    Lost Keys

I was able to get a key cut for one of my older bikes by giving them the serial number. Check with a Yamaha dealer, it can take a while though. Failing that your local locksmith or criminal element while be able to pick the lock on the tank to open it up.

    FZ6R Bar Review

I find the seating better for me, I think I might have been bunching up my shoulders and that was affecting how I sit. My hands are spread a little wider but not in a bad way. I just find it more comfortable, but I can also see how the FZ1 bar could give a similar comfort, but in a sportier way.

The American Mentality (As Told by our Youth)

It's a Canadian mentality thing too, ties in with the other thread about Gixxers too. The most common scene in my travels that I see is a guy riding a litre bike or a 750 with flip flops and a tank top. Fort Mac tends to have a low side accident once a week with someone stunting, rarely any...

Best Helmet for Noise Reduction and Glasses

Skull Screw ear plugs are what I use at work. Great plugs they can be worn for hours and still be comfy, I believe you can pick them up at Pep Boys. Those with my lid cut down the noise to a minimum level. ear plugs are cheap choice to start with rather than trying new lid.

    FZ6R Bar Review

So I have been running with the FZ6R bars for about a week now and here is my recap. The main reason I wanted to change is the same as everyone else, hands going numb, sore hands/wrist, etc. Switching bars helped a lot, I also synced the throttle bodies after I changed my bars and I have no...
