Had a scary moment today, came back home and went for a ride, planned on a nice casual ride hit some roads I am on all the time and such.
Everything was going good and I was relaxed, maybe a little to relaxed. Came up to a sweeping left turn that ends in a bit sharply, I have taken this road quite abit and due to me not paying attention and having a relaxed attitude I came in too hot and not in the line. I also experienced some fairly amusing target fixation, it was a really nice pine tree ...
Didnt crash but it certainly hammered home the paying attention lessons, thought I would share my embarrassment. I was thankfully out with a buddy who promptly pulled over beside me and thoughtfully asked if I could leave my squid moves at home.
