I have a very nice corbin seat that fits a 2006 fz6. I don't use it because i got a custom covered seat with the fz6 logo embriodered into it and that is what i am going to continue to use so this one can go. Nothing wrong with it at all. Yours for $225.00 plus shipping which from TN to WA state...
This is really bad news and it fits in with the rest of the bad news these days. I am going to a Buell demo ride this Sunday at Appleton's in TN if they still have it. I have gone every time they have had one and rode all of the Buell's except the 1125cr. I have always though the the xb12 was...
This is a great start and will get better as time and technology move forward. When i travel thru the KY state i still get goose bumps when i see all the people up their riding without a helmet. It reminds me of a Charles Bronson movie called Death Wish. Apparently some of use want to live more...
Boy you guys are right on about the Buell dealer experience. In all of middle TN we have one good dealership for Buell and that is Appleton HD in Clarksville TN. They actually have two demo rides a year (spring, fall). They grill out and have demo rides all day long and usually give you something...
I must plead guilty and throw myself at the mercy of the forum. If i am just sighseeing while out and about i do it more than once but if i am paying attention which is what i am supposed to be doing i can keep up with it. I really should get a gear indicator, i have a birthday next month and it...
I tought this was interesting also. I have been looking for a helmet that will keep the visor where i want it which is usally about an inch open until about 40 mph, then it closes. I was looking at icon's but i think i will give this a good looking over and see what it cost.
This is called a shim under bucket valve system. You check all your clearances, record and buy the approiate shim to bring the valve in question back to specification. Valves will generally close the gap over time as the seat and valve face wear, this also depends on engine speed, load...
Maybe this will also help.
Water Displacement #40. The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect missile parts. WD-40 was created in 1953 by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company. Its name comes from the project that was to find a...
Condradulations. I think you could be happy with a 6 or the 1. I have a 2006 fz6 and i think it is idea for me but my next one will probably be what you just did. Their are so many good bikes to pick from anymore what's a guy to do? I spent 2 months decieding on an sv650s or the fz6, the power...
I think the Buell Blast is a good choice thou it is not as good as your choices it does handle good has great brakes a nice torquey engine and best of all it can be bought dirt cheap as a used bike even with low miles and gets 68-70 mpg. Most all of the Harley dealers around these parts use it...
I have the pilot road tire and they are performing well as long as you get em warmed up a little before you get to serious, the wear seems to be good so far. Thinking about the pilot 2's next time though, anyone tried these out yet.
