I commute most of the year-round but it's a bit cold for touring. The roads get cold enough that they are not inspiring a lot of traction confidence. I would say we have 8 solid months of good riding each year.

From Dongducheon south is now pretty built up. I try to go north of that to avoid as much congestion as possible. Rice and ramen are about 100 times more expensive now but still relatively cheap.

The app EveryTrail works pretty well. Mine didn't work so well so had to upload the individual GPS files and photos separately. However, it is a nice way to keep track of nice roads.

There are a lot of smartphones out there these days that have QR code readers. If you have a lot of information, you could create an online document using something like Google Docs, then embed the link in a QR code, and then have that code printed on a card. Not overly rare; there are one or two big HD dealerships here. However, they are quite pricey compared to the US.

To be fair, a lot of roads over here in the mountains aren't the best on cruisers. This is the section of the 460 he went down on. Lots of twists and turns. These roads are more suited to sport bikes.
