just got the reply, no scorpion pipes should ever need re-packing in their lifetime, Scorpion in the UK guarantee this. this is good to know i am considering changing my enduro bike to one of these pipes....
Thanks for the heads up guys, i have been researching the air box mod for a while now and came accross this thread, it made my mind up, thanks for the money saver guys.
Thanks heaps for that Scott, i also sent an email off to scorpion in the UK regarding these but waiting on a reply. The cans i have are the earlier model ones with the end pipes sticking out the back, they should be the same though.
thanks again.
hi, does anyone know if you can or should re-pack scorpion oval cans? i have had them on my bike since i brought the bike in 2005, they sound good still at idle, but once i get the revs up to me they sound tinny, not sure if it is just my ears or not. maybe they need re-packing, i used to...

It had a full tank of fuel when it was stored, i filled the tank on the way home from work then it was parked for 3 weeks, it would only have done no more than 40km when the problem started, thats what made me think it may be a fuel issue.
The battery voltage is fine, i replaced the battery 12...
Thanks Shamus, i will drain a bit of the tank out to see if that has anything to do with it, the only other thing i thought was a gummed up or blocked injector, i will check the TPS and make sure that is ok, if all ok, the next step would be pull the injectors off and make sure they are ok...
