I agree that its more likely the radar/laser gun out of whack. My speedo used to be off about 4 mph at 60 or so. When I bumped my front sprocket up to a 17, it made it almost perfect. To reiterate, in stock config, if my speedo said 65, I was actually doing about 61.

I bet that 3:45 exhaust sounds pretty good on the FZ1. (Look at the Yoshimura logo closely sometime...) :)

You can definitely feel 5psi. I check my pressure before every ride, unless I'm riding several consecutive days. Its just one of those things that's so easy and it makes me not worry.

I went up a tooth on the front, with an AFAM sprocket. I have the whine now, too, and despite adjusting chain, it seems like its here to stay. I don't notice it much while riding. But if I shut off the engine and coast into my driveway (100 yds), I can certainly hear it. This really bothered...

Reasoning is pretty simple - spread the transmission ratios out a bit. Same reasoning as dropping a tooth - just the opposite way. If your comment was to disapprove of my change, I guess its a good thing you don't have to ride my bike. :Flash:
