I agree. The original post I responded to stated that cruisers as a whole had horrible brakes. I saw where a Harley CVO model had one of the shortest stopping distances that MCN had ever recorded. Some sportbikes have poor brakes too. I love all bikes and didn't agree with the notion that...

Common knowlege? Look at the stopping data in any cycle mag. The old-teck cruisers have some of the shortest stopping distances. The weight of the cruiser can be an asset in a panic stop, the back brakes can be used to more effect on the big bikes. My Honda VTX1800 will beat my FZ6 in a panic stop.

I have one on my cruiser windshield and it works well. Im not sure how effective it would work with the much smaller FZ6 screen.

+1 on the Spencers Mods - Best money I have spent on my FZ6. Way better than a stock seat or the Yamaha Gel seat.

I plan on giving the Fizzer to my son in a couple of years. My son in-law has a 500 ninja but jumps at any chance he gets to ride the FZ. I look foreword to years of riding with both of them!!!! They both feel real bad about the accident - I see a few bike washes and some lawn care in their future!

I found out about Frank's work on this forum 2 years ago. His work is top notch, my reworked seat is the best mod money I have ever spent. I have talked several friends into sending seats to Frank and no one had been disapointed.:thumbup:

Yes - you can talk on your phone. The sound in the helmet is awesome. My wife said you can't even tell the person is on a motorcycle on the other end. The hook up to my ipod also works well.

I didn't notice much difference - Tell Frank on your initial contact and he will let you know what he can achieve for you.

Frank (Spencer) did my seat. Night / Day difference. I went with the supracore (sp?) material on the rider area and pillion. It is the best mod I have done thus far. You will send him a picture of you on the bike and he will recommend the mods that will fit you. Do it, you won't regret it!
