I just purchased this kit, and for the rear as well. It took about 10 days to get to me in NYC. It seems like quality stuff, I haven't installed it yet but will be in the next few days. To be honest though I don't have much of a frame of reference, this is the first time I've rebuilt...

I finally received the parts I ordered from Babbits and the nuts are different than the ones I took off, but it look correct on the diagram, any ideas? Ryan

I'm probably not going to make it, have to help out with a baby shower (yay) for most of the day. Gonna have to self medicate with some beers lol so I don't think I'll be riding. Just got back from an ok ride, lots of traffic at the start tho.

I pulled my windshield off today to do some cleaning and discovered that it was being held on by one nylon screw, the other 4 were broken. Guess I'm lucky that it didn't come off will riding. I found a few nuts/washers/bolts that have it secure for now, but I would like to get the original...

I's the one with the shoulder of course. I might just try to find/make a bushing to take up the extra space. Thanks for all the info!! Ryan

Hardly lost any at all, just enough to leave a quarter sized spot on the ground. Lost one of the battery box bolts, any suggestions on sourcing one or what thread size they are? Ryan

I have a dead battery and of course a full tank of gas. When I lift the tank to access the battery will I get any fuel leakage/overflow? Thanks Ryan

The trailer is officially for in town only, it gets more expensive if you are dropping it at a diff location from where you pick up, and I don't think they rent the small one for longer trips. I'm traveling a ways with it and have it for 5 days (visiting family and bought the bike on the way)...
