During my first winter, I also did the brace; not because I had any problems but because I always go overkill on projects. During the warm months, I added hand guards. Now, I go right over the hand guards with the mitts.

Always could be worse. In 1985, a friend and I rode bikes to Canada. About 10% into the ride home, he discovered a cracked frame on his XS1100. He decided to say f--k it and we rode home. He welded the frame and then rode that bike to California.
Do you think that Madstad would work mounted to the OEM touring screen? I ask because I cut-down my stock screen but also have the OEM touring screen.

I purchased one of those but my phone kept overheating in it. I have a HTC Evo 4G but wonder if all Android phones put out that much heat. We are upgrading to Galaxy S3s in December so I will try it again when I get that phone.
