Update- Nothing interesting in the filter.. changed the oil and put a bigger filter. Put the bike through its paces this weekend, and had ZERO problems.. Focused on preloading shifter and putting some force into it as well, but could not replicate the issue. Will keep you all posted if...

Hey folks, I'm resurrecting this thread! I recently have been experiencing the same issue, under hardish to hard acceleration. While I'm not sure if it has happened in other gears, I know for a fact it's happened in 2nd and 5th gears, AFTER the shift was complete. For example, two days ago...

The higher settings have deeper cutouts on the dial.. So if you normally use a 4 or 5, you may never have an issue. Just keep an eye on em and I'm sure you'll be fine. Pretty simple device, not too many things can go wrong Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Actually, no. I set the dials where I liked them the first day, and never adjusted further until I was forced to. When the dial slipped the first time from 3 to 2, I reset it to 3.. though it felt muddy (no distinct click). After a few slips, I went to 4... And eventually it would slip out...

Updates.. Jpr levers, painted front fender, painted tail, much needed wash!

Yes, brake side could be a disaster as well! This malfunction (on either side) creates instability that could be severe, depending on the circumstance. Additionally, the sudden distraction of it slipping is dangerous in itself. Make sure you give both sides a careful inspection every few...
