Clutch Slipping and problems getting into 1st

Good advice, as well. I lubricate all joints/cables and chain on the regular, important for bikes that live outside like mine! Garage dreams...

Clutch Slipping and problems getting into 1st

Update- Nothing interesting in the filter.. changed the oil and put a bigger filter. Put the bike through its paces this weekend, and had ZERO problems.. Focused on preloading shifter and putting some force into it as well, but could not replicate the issue. Will keep you all posted if...

Clutch Slipping and problems getting into 1st

Thanks for the response, and apologies to the OP for hijacking. Didn't wanna get flamed for not searching, and thought mayyybe my case was related due to unlikely nature of his clutch slipping so prematurely. In any case, I'm swapping oil and experimenting this weekend. Thanks again for...

Clutch Slipping and problems getting into 1st

Hey folks, I'm resurrecting this thread! I recently have been experiencing the same issue, under hardish to hard acceleration. While I'm not sure if it has happened in other gears, I know for a fact it's happened in 2nd and 5th gears, AFTER the shift was complete. For example, two days ago...

    the2Wheel Levers

The higher settings have deeper cutouts on the dial.. So if you normally use a 4 or 5, you may never have an issue. Just keep an eye on em and I'm sure you'll be fine. Pretty simple device, not too many things can go wrong Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Actually, no. I set the dials where I liked them the first day, and never adjusted further until I was forced to. When the dial slipped the first time from 3 to 2, I reset it to 3.. though it felt muddy (no distinct click). After a few slips, I went to 4... And eventually it would slip out...

Yes, brake side could be a disaster as well! This malfunction (on either side) creates instability that could be severe, depending on the circumstance. Additionally, the sudden distraction of it slipping is dangerous in itself. Make sure you give both sides a careful inspection every few...

    Cheap Brake/clutch levers

Hi guys, I posted this on another thread here regarding The2Wheels levers, so I'm cutting and pasting here: I've had these levers for one and a half seasons now, so I'll provide an update: Overall experience with levers has been good, certainly makes riding much more enjoyable than...

    the2Wheel Levers

I've had these levers for one and a half seasons now, so I'll provide an update: Overall experience with levers has been good, certainly makes riding much more enjoyable than stock, because of 1) the ability to adjust to your preference, and 2) I MUCH prefer shorty on both sides. As for...

Last track day of the season: $100 for full day (including school) for first timers!!

I'm doing this... been wanting to do a track day for quite some time, and this is the perfect opportunity. The deal includes free suit rental as well?? Too good to pass up. I'm a relatively new rider.. just about two years and 18,000 miles under my belt. Really hoping to find answers to...
