That's a good question: the ramp has a mount under the trailer. Basically two bolts with wing-nuts (this is how it comes from the factory). I typically just put the ramp in the trunk (it's only like 3-4 feet long - the trailer is low enough to the ground that you don't need a long ramp).
Hi All,
These Kendon trailers are amazing. I tow with my car, because the trailer itself is so light. This trailer originally retailed for $2,500. Asking $1750 obo, and willing to deliver up to 50 miles from 07940.

Car repairs taking way longer than expected (actually just put things back together and will have to start back another day to finish it up). Was working to change the timing belt on my 1992 Civic, but literally everything was going wrong (every bolt and nut is seized, adjuster bolt for the...
Anybody down for a half day ride tomorrow? Either in the am or in late afternoon?
We can do northwest jersey in the mountains and farmland or hit up the Hudson valley.
It's supposed to be HOT tomorrow so I'd rather avoid the mid day sun. Also, gotta work on my car a bit tomorrow so I...
Okay, I've ordered Pilot Power 2CTs. Set is on there way from motorcycle-superstore at a good sale price (they were actually cheaper than the Pilot Roads). I had to really think it over. So far, with the FZ, I haven't done tons of touring - I pick the bike up from the garage out in western NJ...
I may be able to do the 13th or the 20th. Sundays are actually way better for me so if there's any chance we could switch to the 14th (w/ rain date of 21st), that'd be awesome :)
Looking forward to meeting some of you soon!
I'm way late to this thread, but the line above really resonated with me. As I've grown older, I've shed many of the beliefs that were socialized into me, including some of my religious faith. I go back and fourth between not being religious and being "spiritual", but at the end of the day, no...
I'll let you know the next time I'm back at the bike (I store it about 30 minutes west of where I live to avoid having to go on 287 and 80 every time I want to hit the twisties - just easier to drive the car out to the bike and have it in western Morris county waiting by the nice roads for me :D
Thanks - it seemed really insane to me. I'm thinking maybe they have their mechanic do it and charge for the entire time it takes them to take off the wheels, do the tires and put the wheels back on, but you'd think they'd have someone who could just do tires for cheaper.
For $85 per tire, I...
Thanks all.
I went to my local dealer to get a quote on tire install and balance. They quoted me 85 per tire to mount and balance (if I bring them the bike - apparently it's cheaper if I bring them just the wheels). Is it just me or is that price a bit outrageous?
Alright then - new tires as soon as I can. Can anyone in north jersey recommend a place to mount and balance?
I saw some things online about doing it yourself with static balances and these harbor freight tire changers with moto adapters. Not sure I'm willing to go that route though.
Thanks again all - if I remember correctly, the tires were 2105 or 2205 on the sidewall. Definitely no dry rot but will have to consider replacement. Maybe if any of us me up on a ride together someone can give her a spin and let me know what they feel.
Also thanks for tire recommendations - I...
Thanks, all, for the warm welcome!!
What's the best way to tell on the tires? From what I know of the bike, the first owner bought the bike and rode it that first season and then it sat in a climate controlled garage. The second owner bought a special shed just for the bike. It's spent...
