Calling FZ7 and FZ9 riders for help.

Too bad about the small tank. It looks like a perfect standard to throw bags and a small windscreen on and go touring..

Calling FZ7 and FZ9 riders for help.

Current main ride is a Versys. The short list now includes the Yamaha Super Tenere. The FZ9 looks awesome too. Can I get it with full hard luggage?

If that's the case then they are likely interchangeable with the FZ9. Let me know what you find out. Thanks.

Calling FZ7 and FZ9 riders for help.

We are looking to add the FZ7 and FZ9 to our list of bikes that we fit with our bar end weights. If anybody has either of those bikes and would like to provide us with some specs we'd appreciate it. I can't get a hold of the parts microfiche yet, but even that doesn't give me detailed specs...

    HVMP bar ends.... no more

Not to hijack this thread, but I highly recommend visiting port Orford if you like sleepy seaside towns. The folks at the castaway by the sea motel were very friendly, and have a billion dollar location with views. It was modestly priced and we enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra day...

    HVMP bar ends.... no more

No problem. I hope this is an isolated incident due to some varying tolerances on the part of Yamaha. Believe me we are not in this for the money. :). We just enjoy this "side job" and hope to make some gas money is all. Check out our website and our blog. I am posting this from...

Any difference between Australian and US FZ6?

It was a moto shop, so they put something else on the customers bike, and they are returning the bar ends. They seemed a little miffed, and not very communicative. I'm glad it was not my mistake. Thanks guys.

Any difference between Australian and US FZ6?

Thanks for the reply. I am scratching my head on this one. I think your explanation must be right. Probably aftermarket bars on it.

Any difference between Australian and US FZ6?

I had a customer in Australia order a set of our heavy bar ends for a 2005 FZ6, and reported that they don't fit. Specifically our bar ends are a one piece design that uses a massive integrated thread that screws right into the handlebars. The customer reported that their bar ends required a...

We at HVMP are riders and know the importance of comfort on long or short distance rides, so we are glad that we can make a little bit...

    Question about bar ends

I'm not giving you the hard sell but HVMP has universal bar end weights that are really heavy and will fit 7/8" steel handlebars. :)

    HVMP bar ends (HEAVY!) review

Just a useful reminder here. These are being shipped without instructions (we don't have any printed yet). Installation is the reverse procedure of removing the stock bar ends. I'm sure you guys can figure it out. SPECS: USE BLUE THREAD LOCKER (aka LOCTITE) Tighten to 60 in-lbs...

    HVMP bar ends (HEAVY!) review

Hi all, Been known to lurk here, although I admit most of my info comes from Erci lately so if you have a question, [email protected] is the best way to reach me. Thanks for the patronage. We really appreciate it. We're a mom and pop business who does this mostly for fun, and to earn a...

Specs needed for bar end weight design.

I'm not sure about pricing yet, but they may be around the $65 range, because of some extra machining required for their unique giant thread adaptor. We really do this for fun. I still have a real job. We don't make much $$$$$ in this venture, and try to keep them as affordable as possible...

Does the FZ6R use the same setup as the FZ6? I can't find the microfiche for the FZ6R. Yamaha doesn't have it on their website.
