That really sucks man, sorry to hear that. I did the same thing the first week that I had my bike. I was turning around in a wide spot in the road, and locked up the front brake...down she went.

My bike had the shad 40 or something like that on it when I got it. Taking it off was the first thing that I did when I got it home, ha ha.

I feel like a jackass asking this, but how important are gloves? I've been riding about a month now, and I always wear jeans, boots, an armored jacket and a helmet. Should I get gloves?
