How do you clean your gear?

If there are bugs on it that did not get washed off from the last rain we rode through, we wipe them off with a wet cloth, just water. Then use a leather conditioner on them. There are several conditioners, go to your local or semi-local leather shop, they can set you up with a conditioner. Hope...

Ever been laughed at for "gearing up"??

My comment to them is "I would rather sweat than bleed". When it is nice and warm outside 85 degrees and sun is shinning, have them put their bare hand on the asphalt and hold it there. Tell them to image there bare arms, legs, arse ect on there waiting for help to arrive. Way to stick up for...

    Intercom Advice

My wife and I have tried several brands, the autocom is second to none (my opinion). We have never had a problem with the system. Use it in rain, freezing weather, and you can add accessories to it. It is a bit expensive but it will last. The tech support is great also. Hope this helps.

Do you wave to other riders??

I wave to bikers, only bikers understand bikers. I also wave to kids in cars, it puts a big smile on their faces and it give them a story to tell their friends. Bikers have enough bad image out there. Maybe if we all wave non-bikers will see we are friendly. My $.02. :Sport:

Dumb question. How often do I lube the chain?

O-ring chain is designed to hold the oil in. Keeping the chain clean is important. I clean mine at every oil change. If you ride in a lot of dirty situations might have to clean it more often. My wife has always had chain bikes, YZF600R, VFR800, R6, she has gotten between 15,000 to 20,000 miles...

    Intercom Systems

My wife and I have tried several of the inter com systems out there. We have found that the Auto com system is the best. It is expensive and takes a little bit to set up, but once it is in place and working nothing beats it. We have had the system since 2004, we spent 6 months and 29000 miles...
