    FS: 2006 Yamaha FZ6

Selling my 2006 FZ6. I am the original owner, bought the bike in 2008 as a leftover. The bike has 7,718 miles. Never been down and always kept indoors. Excellent condition never any issues. The bike is mostly stock, Puig frame sliders, 2wheels levers in blue, Cortech tail bag, battery...

    Moto Insurance Rates 2015 (USA/NJ/BASIC)

I just changed to Progressive this month from Rider. Rider considered the FZ6 as a sport and shot up the price for the year to $1,780 after paying around $190 last year. Switched to progressive for $145 a year full coverage $500 deductibles.

    Rider Insurance !?!

Yes I received the same notice, I was paying Rider full coverage around $270 a year (not the greatest zip code) and once the renewal came in they asked for $1500 a year. kookoo. I called up Progressive (and also moved to a much better area 2 weeks ago) and they are charging me $130 for the...

Need help getting ready for riding season

I must say I was in the same boat. All I did was oil changes and chain lube. With the help of the members here was much a better experience than giving it to the dealer for maintenance. I decided to treat the FZ6 much better and I bought new tires, changed oil and filter, coolant, brake...

A complete run through the bike before riding season

Thank you for the suggestions, to me $500 also seem steep. I always did my own oil changes, I can do that myself. If I watch someone do something then I will feel comfortable doing it myself. But for the coolant and brake fluid (especially dealing with brakes) I guess scares me to do it first...

Hopefully the warm weather is approaching I am slowly preparing the bike for the riding season, I just purchased a new set of tires, and I am looking to get a complete run through the bike, flush coolant, brake fluid, lube cables, obviously swap the tires, and just a general look through to make...

I have Rider insurance, it's only available in Delaware, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I pay $168 a year for full coverage $500 deductible, with road side assistance, they will deliver fuel if needed, just pay for fuel, and will tow up to 35 miles. By far...
