Replacement Parts for GIVI FZ351 Monorack

Can you post some details? What stopper size and which anchors? I have exactly the same issue. Just bought a rack from someone and they didn't have the cones / expanding inserts. I'd rather not re-invent the wheel! Thanks

    tail bag dilemna

I'm 5'7" and I get on the bike the same way. The bike is on the kickstand, and, I put my left foot on the left peg, stand up and swing my right leg over, without hitting anything on the bike. I'm 49 now and a little less flexible than I used to be, so, I have to get on the bike this way. It's...

    Beginner Cruiser/Standard Bike

If she has never ridden before, those are good bikes to start on. I'm a firm believer in starting real small and moving up. I rode a Suzuki SP125 for quite a few years before I went to a VSTAR650, which would make a great bike for her after the riding something smaller for a while. My only...

Textile Jackets - Reviews and Suggestions

I picked up some Tourmaster pants and jacket. I can't recall the model, but, they are 3 way - i.e. there are liners and covers that can all be pulled off right down to the mesh. It's supposed to rain resistant too, but, I'm not so sure about that claim. So far, it's been great. I've had...

How many people here are pilots?

PPL here, and I've had it for almost 30 years. Unfortunately, I've only got about 300+ hours TT, mostly in C-152's but some time in C-172. I did do a trip from Edmonton to Whitehorse in a 172, which was amazing! I'd love to do the same trip on a bike. So may other things to do, though, and...

may need new top fairing help !!

Well....I did EXACTLY the same thing when I was putting the bike to bed for the winter. I got a new fairing at the dealer for $ 150 CDN. It took about 1 hour to install. Good luck.

How do you open electrical connectors?

Hello, I've been doing some work on my bike (new fairing, headlight mod, etc.) and, I've been having a real hard time splitting some of the electrical connectors on the bike. For the fairing, there are at least 6 (2 at the headlights, 2 from the controls and 2 for the turn indicators. I...

Where do you keep the FZ during the winter?

Mine is in a heated shed I built last year. It was a great idea until I got the electricity bill last week! OUCH! So, I have a question to my fellow northerners (or anyone in the extreme south of the other hemisphere). If you're storing your bike in an unheated area, can't you damage it...

    Ice Skates, help

I play hockey 2-3 times / week on a pair of CCM Tacks 452. I love them. They cost about $ 175 CDN when I bought them 5 years ago. Breaking them in was misery, but, now the fit like a glove. Waxed laces can make it easier to get through the break in period, but, it can be brutal to get the...

Any of you riders in the Hamilton-Burlington area will know this place. It's been at the corner of the QEW and Guelph line for years. Well, it's gone now. The bankruptcy sale started this morning and doors close tomorrow afternoon. Sad event, the owners and employees were there today...

    Right Gear for Ontario?

Hello, I'm visiting in California right now and just went to the Cycle Gear shop in Fullerton. I'm thinking about a new jacket and looked at the mesh gear. My question is, would the mesh gear actually be practicle in Southern Ontario? I'm concerned about dropping some coin on gear I'll...

    Change the spark plug

I'm thinking the same thing. I just got the bike used in September checked the oil and coolant etc. then went riding. I don't know how long these plugs were in, but, they don't look eroded or anything like that. Also, the bike ran fine the last time I went riding, so, if it is rich, it can't...

    Change the spark plug

It's not easy, but, I got them changed today. #1 is a pain. The other 3, not so bad. You do have to get the radiator loosened and tipped back a bit. I'm not sure I want to do this every fall (I was winterizing the bike and wanted to put some fogging oil in the cyclinders). We'll see how...
