My bikes always made many strange sounds so I've grown used to them. This one just started recently which is why it's been bothering me. The fact that I switched to low octane and it's been 106 degrees here that past few days got me worried.

Its a 2006 with about 8,000 miles on it. Break-in and first service were performed as normal. She's never been down although I did have a minor accident that broke the right hand fairing but the body wasn't hurt at all. I've kept up with all her maintenance aswell. I haven't checked the bolts...

I picked up a screw in my rear tire and it was fine for almost a month. Even drove it to the dealer when I decided to get it fixed. I probably didn't even put 100mi on the tire after I discovered the nail so I can't really speak for the tires integrity. Either way, Repair bills are cheaper then...

ok so math is not my friend but maybe someone here is a mathmatician. lets say I'm on a flat surface with normal wind conditions. I weigh 160ibs and I am on my FZ6. So what speed am I traveling at if I'm in 6th gear at 12,000 rpm?

I saw another one today in San Bernarghetto (San Bernardino). This one was black and parked outside of a Sears tire shop near the Inland Center mall. Eventually I will lure one of them onto the board. :D
