The lights are "Highway Hawk" 35w plastic lamps mounted to the engine, wiring hidden behind right radiator cover to right lamp then across engine front to left lamp, relay & fuse fitted on top of battery cover, handlebar mounted switch.

I've fitted a pair of 35mm lights mounted to the engine.

I had to remove exhaust to swap the swing arm for a '08 arm so while they were off I thought i'd give them a polish as they were a right mess, (an hour with a drill mounted polishing mop) then when the bike was rebuilt I gave the whole thing a much needed polish. Your right it's a Puig...

The water is coming out of a drain hole on the water pump that is between the mechanical water seal and the oil seal. Mine did the same thing after only 26 miles on the clock, I fitted a new mechanical water seal myself but think the leak could have been stopped by splitting the mechanical...

Its been there for five years now, it was one of the first mods i did to the bike, never had any problems with it there. :thumbup:

I've had one of these on my bike for the last 4-5 years now, Fits the headlight shape really well and I've had no problems at all with it. Someone in the UK now makes these, but I can't remember which company.

Looks like the FZ6 has finally been dropped here in the Uk , not on their web site any longer. Yamaha Motorcycles - Supersport, Street, MT-series , FZ-series, XJ-series, Off-road Bikes, 125CC motorcycles

The faired version has a different cable to the naked bike, it has a metal precurved sleeve on the end of the cable, you might want to change it for one of these? Check out in the photo's of Gcontroller's bike, you can see it in the first photo...
