Should I buy or should I go....

You will definitely need the things you mentioned, plus the fairing stay is severely bent and probably many of the plastics are screwed up. who knows what else you may find that needs tweaking, it looks to have taken a massive hit. I would avoid the bike and find one in better shape for not...

How many miles did you get in the 2011 riding season?

Put about 7k on her this year. That was with an almost 2 month break, while my leg healed and I had time to replace the bars and fairing stay.

    international motorcycle show

I will be at the one this weekend in DC! Went last year and had a good time. The only yamaha's that were there were the Star line and the dirt bikes. Hopefully that's changed this year.

Hyundai horrendous customer service experience. Advice needed.

i have left out the other issues that needed resolved because this was the major one, but both headlights leaked the first day and had to be replaced as well as an electrical connector under the hood had to be secured because it was coming unlatched.

Hyundai horrendous customer service experience. Advice needed.

The result was 2 weeks of me not having my brand new vehicle and tons of leg work to get it done on my part. Yes the transmission has been replaced but Hyundai has lost me as a customer if this is how they treat people when their product is defective.

Hyundai horrendous customer service experience. Advice needed.

The warranty being offered as a bonus to me is a 10 year 100k limited bumper to bumper. it extends the bumper to bumper coverage for another 40k miles but has some limitations. That extended warranty that they are offering me is only valid while we own the vehicle. So if we sell it at 5,6,7,etc...

Hyundai horrendous customer service experience. Advice needed.

They have a 10 year 100k powertrain warranty so the one they are offering me covers a bit more, but its still a load of ****. Their bumper to bumper is 5 years 60k.

Thank you for seeing my point of view! There is a big difference between a factory assembled new vehicle and a repaired one. The factory integrity is gone. Plus my wife didn't get the new car experience, we bought her a car and she was forced to drive a variety of loaners for the following 2...

Hyundai horrendous customer service experience. Advice needed.

The warranty doesn't cover many suspension components, they consider those maintenance items. The crappy warranty isn't much compensation for the amount of crap we have had to deal with. Also the major point here is the car arrived broken and was sold to me broken. This didnt break 10k miles...

Hyundai horrendous customer service experience. Advice needed.

Thanks for all the tips and advice guys. I emailed the CEO/president of Hyundai Motors America to just tell my story. It may go no where but it felt good to get it off my chest. It sucks that companies don't give a crap about their customers any more.

Started a gripe if anyone is interested in sharing it for me. Not sure what will come of it but I am trying to spread the word. Gripe: Chuck Porter's gripe about Hyundai Motor America

Hyundai horrendous customer service experience. Advice needed.

So I am in need of a little advice. I just want some help and some different perspectives on whether I am being ridiculous. Also I thought it may help people decide whether Hyundai is a manufacturer that you are willing to give your money too and give you a peak at what customer service you can...

    FZ6 Or SV650 and Why

I started my motorcycling life on an SV650S and then switched to my current fz6. Both bikes are awesome. I think the fz is a little more powerful and much smoother. The SV had some slop built in. I like my fz just a bit more than I did my sv , plus with my height 6'5" the fz fits my legs where...
