I was riding my FZ to the dealership to have it serviced and was on the access road for the main highway. I needed to get up to the highway, as the access road is a lot slower.

There was a Bubba On-Ramp ahead. (That's my term for a dirt track made by various pickup truck drivers deciding "I want to get on the highway here.")

It was a 45 degree slope and covered in large rocks, but I stopped to look at it and decided I could make it.

Then it went all wrong. Starting off, I gave it way too much gas, dumped the clutch, and the bike shot out from under me. I landed on my back and the bike did a full flip about five feet off the ground.

I wasn't hurt. The bike took some damage. The fairing got some scratches and in places it became soft and gooey. The red paint faded to look like it had been in the sun for years. But I stood the bike up and it was ridable. So I got back on and kept riding, thinking,"It'll polish out with some turtle wax."

Around this time my cat Aylee decided that I needed to feed her, so she woke me up by batting at my face with her claws. The FZ6 is parked in the driveway and is doing just fine.

A very weird dream indeed. That's the last time I eat curry right before I go to bed. And I should have known it was a dream. "I was riding my FZ to the dealership to have it serviced." I'd only do that in a dream!

holy carp!!! I was just getting ready to flame you thourally!!!(even though I don't do that) then I read the part of feeding the cat.. LOL I was thinkingh what the heck is wrong with you the FZ6 ain't no dirtbike!!!! LMAO

I sometimes have a dream where I find my truck wrapped around a tree. While figuring out what I'm going to do about the truck, I get in the truck and go home. Eventually the paradox hits me, and I wake up. :D

Phew, that was a scary story.. I started reading about the cat, and wondered, why is she riding with him.

I had a dream a couple of nights back when all the handlebar clamp nuts came loose, the handlebar rotated, I had a tankslapper and highsided. Then I woke up screaming! thank god it was a dream.

Maybe because a week back I had adjusted my FZ1 bars to make them forward. On the next ride to office, one of the nuts was loose and I retightened it after I reached office.

that feeling of relief you feel when you realize it was all a dream.....ahhhhhhh.....glad you're alright and in one piece....;)

That was best set-up and hit I've read in while, I don't even know what the hell curry is, and I will not be eating any ever:eek:

LOL I always have dreams I am boffing the ex wife's friends...

-and zombies... lots of zombies in my dreams. (Not sexual-zombies, man, just a mass-outbreak of them 'getting you',)

Never dreamt of flipping the FZ6

Hold on a sec... you just completed a Rocky Mountain tour unscathed and then suddenly you forget how to work the clutch and throttle? Only way it could have been more over the top was if you started off "I had just taken a hit from my crack pipe when..."

Ok, maybe I bought it a little bit, but only at first.

I wouldn't give up curry just because of some funky dreams. Certainly one of the most worthwhile contributions by the human race. I never let my cat sleep in my room - he usually tears on the bed until I get up and feed him at 5 am.
