Anyone tried one of these? Rizoma makes very nice products and I really like the quality feel of their FE kit.

Thanks!

Rizoma makes high quality (and pricey) products. I love my Rizoma mirrors. The Rizoma FE kit seems like it was designed for the much larger European plates. I personally like the smaller, tucked in version of the FE kit.

I was looking on PJs Parts and they metion a larger Euro version and a smaller US version, however there isn't a photo of the US one.

Can the stock turn signal be used, or would I need aftermarket ones? I actually like the stock ones because they are more easily seen by cagers than the tiny ones.

I would love to see the US version of the Rizoma FE kit. I bought the Rizoma rear signals but have not installed them yet. Still using the stock blimps on the FZ6 FE kit. Ask solomoto parts to take a photo. It only makes sense for customers to see a product first before buying it. Cheers.

Most FE kits fail to replace the red rear reflector. An easy fail at MOT time here in the UK. This one has it, that is good.

I agree, I would like a smaller fender but not a the elimination of safety. I like a larger turn signal and I like the rear reflector.

I downloaded the Rizoma catalogue, and the FE kit comes with three different supports, EU, US, and a tiny one. The turnsignal mounts can adjust outward and you can adjust the angle of the plate. Very cool.

They also make some very cool turnsignals and spacers to keep them wide if you wish. Very, very cool.

Go on, order it, you know you want to. :D

Oh you are right my friend Grommit, I do what the kit, and four turn signals, some adapter brackets and four spacers. I'm afraid to add up the cost!

I really like their rearsets too. Maybe if DI isn't looking I'll swip his!

is the reflector required my law in the US? The reflectors are on the sides of stock. I like the FE kit I got.. uses stock signals and the stock lamp. Just had to cut the tab off back of light. no reflectors though. actually made by a guy that rides a fz6.. you can buy it @ sportsbikes.net store.. Sometimes find it on ebay too.

Okay so I added up this project (I have this problem in my life in general, start small and end up huge...)

1X FE Kit - $172
4X Spacers - $32
4X Turn signals - $160

Total - $364

And as I was looking through the Rizoma catalogue I found some really cool mirrors for the fairing, handgrips, bar weights and of course the rearsets. They really make NICE things.

Hello the Rizoma FE Kit actually comes with three different brackets. I just received mine today. I will update with pictures after I install it. Here is how it arrived...

Face it Top!!! You're NEVER going to rebuild the checking account!

They really do make great stuff and stand behind them too. The most impressive was Wavex's second accident where the bike flipped over forward and his Rizoma mirrors took the weight of the bike without breaking. Top quality stuff!

I need a bonus to buy some!!

I'm thinking about splashing out on the Rizoma FE kit being discussed here, partly because Rizoma stuff looks so trick, but also because, as has been said before, this kit contains a rear reflector, unlike many others, and it is a point of law in the UK that you have one.

What I want to know is:

*Can stock signals be used without a problem with this kit? I love the
don't want to spend heaps on getting four of them right now...

*Are there any probs wiring up the plate lamp to the power supply? I'm asking this because I think it wa an issue touched upon in another thread on the subject, so I would like clarification.

Cheers guys! Ride safe! :Flash:
