I Can’t Decide! FZ6 / FZ1 / R6s HELP!!!

Congrats on the purchase. You know, maybe others will agree with me, but the FZ6 feels like just the most perfect motorcycle. I dont know how to explain it. I mean its comfortable, fast, easy to work on... Now with the FZ1, there's just so much power. On the FZ6 I can redline first, second, third and still be riding at a "safe" speed. On the FZ1, I do not think I will be able to enjoy its powerband as much as I would with the FZ6, especially with its looooonnng first gear, but for serious touring, I can see why one would want it, especially going two up.

Yes i totally understand you about the FZ6 being perfect, i feel the same, its like i could be stuck with this bike for the rest of my life and i'd be fine...Just like Yamaha Advertised it is the "Swiss Army Knive" of motorcycles...
About the power band, where is it exactly on the FZ6, from what to what rpm? But thats what i tell people also, its like i can floor it all the way in all gears up to redline and it doesnt get you into much trouble, love it!

On the FZ6, its very mellow below 8000 RPM, but past that it just screams and all the power just arives in one big punch. However, it feels like it runs out of juice at 12K to 13K-ish to redline.

Sweet, thanks! Also i was wondering people have asked about performance difference between the FZ6 and R6/R6S, could the fact that the FZ6 is almost 50lbs heavier play a part, i mean if the FZ6 was the same weight (so around 360lbs) it'd be very close, no?
