03 foxeye ignition barrel

Hi all.
New to the fazer and have acquired a dog rough 03 foxeye as a project.
It has no power when switch ignition. On so ha e checked fuses and battery. Ignition is notchy and need replacement but can't find one easy as is different to boxeye....does anyone know where I can a replacement

Yeah, 2002-2003 FZS600 is going to be unique. It’s possible that the switch is shared with another model, such as the FZS1000 since they share a similar instrument panel.

Is that a 4-wire single connector assembly? You may be able to adapt another unit to work.

Before you spend a lot of time searching for a switch that you may or may not need, why not jump the connector to see if you can power up the bike…this way you know if your time and money are well used to find a replacement switch.

Cheers for reply. Have yet to get lock off but instead of 6 wires I believe its 7 wires. How would you bypass it to power bike up.

Dave, do you have access to a wiring schematic with the color code?

Dave, as mentioned by Motogiro, we would need the schematic to determine which wires to jump. Also confirm that you do not have an emobilizer

Are there two connectors?
