Ya Gotta wonder.....
So my son is trying to fix up this little truck for cheap. The "free truck" is doing that whole nickel and dime thing every stretch of the way.
Any parents ever have a mean streak and do somewhat unusual gifts or wrapping?? Ok - a couple of you know what I'm talking about.​
Little truck needs front shocks so I order them from rockauto thinking they'd make great stocking stuffers! Then, on my door step I find what appears to be a box delivered to the right place, at the right time and from the proper sender but WTF????? Did I order Monster Truck Shocks???? NO! But look! Those tiny little red boxes contain little truck shocks. I'm pretty sure "the package" would hold about SIXTEEN OF THEM.... Yes, I had to open it and see what was in the box because I couldn't beleive such a huge box would be the choice for shock the size of the Fizzer rear shock...

As you already know: most states require a three foot buffer for a motorist to pass a cyclist. How far is three feet? Well, it's pretty impractical to hang a measuring tape out of your window.

So what is the solution?
The KaleCoAuto Friendly Cat's Paw. Simply attach the clamp side to your cycle and extend the telescoping Cat's Paw. This extends to exactly 2ft 11 and 7/8ths inches. I meant to post this a while ago but was reminded today after an interaction with my youngest daughter Chloe (6). Recently at school Chloe came home to infrorm us that her teacher was not at school that day.
"Why Chloe, where was she"?
"Oh well, she was on a horse".
Which latter transpired to be a "Course".
Today I went into the kids den and found Chloe colouring some books on the floor next to the fire guard (a big old thing that prevents toddlers getting anwhere near the hot wood burning stove.
"Careful Chloe, we don't want paper to fall behind the guard do we"?
"Why?",
"Well, hot paper could catch fire and that's why we have the guard to protect us". After a few minutes pondering Chloe said
"Dad we are so lucky to have the real God and the fire God to protect us aren't we"?
Never a wasted moment chatting to the children.
