Smersh took a bunch more.. see them here: FZ Track Day

Only problem is that now every off-ramp on the highway I try to find the turn in point and touch the 'curb' of the apex... :spank:

But seriously, great day out; proven again that this forum houses some of the most skilled and responsible riders out there... kudos!!

I've turned to the trusty page I made a long time ago for hosting pics:

I like to archive this evidence - er... I mean history in one place, so if anyone wants to upload pics [full rez] (they'll be up indefinitely there's almost unlimited server space), simple log in as:

Thanks Erci for getting this party started and to everyone else who supported it!

Smersh, please feel better and drink your theraflu!

Looks too awesome, wish I could have made it. (but my incomplete gear and tires would have been a no-no even though this actually turned out to be a good weekend for it for me...)

Gear would have been provided, but tires are definitely no good. Even though they're *relaxed* about passing people, for your own safety and those around you.. good, fresh tire set is a must (as I have recently learned).

Looks like a lot of fun.

I saw the videos too and I gotta say I might have caught the bug. I might have to do a track day too next summer.

One more (thanks Raj!!)

You are welcome!!. I just shared the photo off my camera - I didn't click it though :).

It was an awesome day, and I still feel some soreness in the back and legs with all the shifting from one side of the bike to the other. The ride back home, I had to constantly remind myself to make use of both brakes(on the track it was "suggested" not to use back brake). I didn't try shift the butt though - was too tired to make any extra movements :).

And you guys were right Erci/Joe - I was totally exhausted by the time I reached home. Spent the entire Sunday resting from the hangover of track riding. Can only imagine what metallicat and Smersh would have endured.

And for Erci - its true - this is an addiction, and I spent my free time yesterday looking at our ride pictures and making mental note of what to correct for the next track day!!!. And you infected us .

I *wish* I could have rested, yesterday!! Went for a 17 mile mountain bike ride, instead  .. my legs were screaming!!

Can't wait till next year! Come on, April!

Finally re-indexed the thing... there should be >100 pics there now. Looking at it, man, my form SUCKS... you other guys are tearing it up!!

Looks to me like you guys were doing great! Lesson I learned was I expected too much from myself and it ruined the fun of being on the track. Just relax, have fun, and the rest will follow:thumbup:
