FZ6R Fork size for clip ons

Hey guys... I'm looking to get some Woodcraft clip ons for my fz6r, but I'm not sure which size to get. The website I'm ordering them from has 29mm-36mm and 54mm-55mm. I've seen that our forks are 41mm? Not really sure what to do from here. Anything helps! Thanks!!

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Just a note, this is an FZ6 forum, your question may be better answered on FZ6R Forum Community FZ6 and FZ6R are similarly-named bikes, but are, in fact very different.

Not trying to shoo you away, btw, just trying to point you in the right direction - this is a very friendly forum, so stick around!

FZ6 is 43mm, FZ6R is 41mm.

Woodcraft does make a 41, however you will probably bang your tank and fairing.

Ask the boys on the FZ6R Forum, they can tell you what will work can clear the body work. Look for JSP, John Kerr, or Marty. They'll square you away.

If you're still here and want clip ons that won't bang your tank up - (also a lot cheaper and slightly lower quality than the WoodCraft ones) - you can go with the Danmoto adjustable ones. I have the 43mm ones on my FZ6, they sell them in 41mm too. They have adjustable risers (or you could nix the riser if you want a simple clipon).
