I missed this somehow....

H8 PVMT, well before my beloved FZ I was and am a Jeep guy. With that said my slightly built Jeep "hates pavement" and would rather be out on a trail.

My user name can be taken two ways, one way could be " Hey Damn it's Jeff"
and the other can be taken as "Awww crap DAMNIT it's Jeff!!!!" I just found it to be really a one of a kind name. Out of all the sites I have been to and had to make a user name I have not been turned down yet because it is being used by someone else or has already been taken. :thumbup:

Ok, I was looking around for some info on the FZ6, had to register to look at some photos, and just used my name + FZ6 ryder spelled that way so I wouldn't have to worry about the name being taken. I use chuckthebeerguy everywhere else because I really love to make (and drink) beer. I was unsure if this was appropriate on this forum, but I don't drink too much when I ride (1 beer max).
as nelly changed his username, I was thinking of doing the same.

Found the right thread with some help...

Valles = my last name

240 = racing # for motocross

Basically what you'd see on the back of my jersey.

Castro Valley (CA Bay Area) Rider. When I registered for the forum about six weeks ago, I didn't have an FZ6 yet, and just wanted to ask the members what they thought of theirs. I didn't think through that if I did get one, I'd be stuck with a boring name for eternity. If I had thought of it, I might have chosen ear_ring (as my first bike had a god-awful loud Vance & Hines exhaust on it that made my ears ring for about four hours after each ride) or lug_nut (my first bike was a low-revving thumper and I still haven't really mastered getting above 7k rpm on the FZ6). It's shocking how much time I waste in this forum reading interesting posts like this. Starting to interfere with my family life and sleep!

ok...cool....yes I am near ocotillo wells. My brother used to live in carlsbad.

Oh nice. Yeah i figured you might because i would go out to ocotillo sometimes (pole line has some huuuge hits for playriding when not in the racing season), and we could see the salton sea, and ride out to it if we wanted, so i was just guessing salton city is close by.

salton city is the salton sea....I live about 1 mile from the sea!

haha right on, i did not know that, makes sense though. That pretty much means you can ride from your house. Very cool. Some crazy fast roads going out from where i live to ocotillo, like 100+mph turns easily :eek: ...that isn't safe though.

so, you've never actually come down to the sea?

Yeah...those roads are fun!

Yeah i've come down there a few times but it wasn't a regular thing to do going out there...there was a certain spot where we went (can't remember the name now) i think it was near artesian wells, that we went to to ride a really fun area, with big step-ups and hill climbs as well as a huge spine double. In this area we had a perfect view of the sea off in the near distance(lol). Yea those roads are way too much fun.

I used to ride 250's and 450's (all 4stroke)...i had 2 honda crf250r's (race & practice) and 2 honda crf450r's (race & practice). I also have a ktm525mxc and a crf250x. All are/were fully modded except the practice bikes, those only had suspension. But i sold the 250s and 450s because i broke my back riding practice @ perris raceway a couple years ago. So i let the bikes go, sold my truck, and bought my car :thumbup: I think it was a fair trade considering the doctors saying i couldn't ride again.

Have never seen this thread before? Oh well, my turn, have been called Wolfie, or Wolfman just about all my life, or at least since about grade four at school....last name is Woolford.

Has followed me around to the point that as a CLub DJ i am known as DJ Wolfman....

In fact a lot of people dont even know my real name, i just get called Wolf all the time.

so hence, the user name, Wolfman.
